Cuzco ... Day 2

Hola everyone!  We  have had a difficult time with computers, but here we are with luck this morning.   We flew to Cuzco yesterday and love our hostel.  As soon as we can figure out how to upload photos, we will.    Cuzco is a very hilly city  at about 9000 feet above sea level and you can really feel the altitude.  So far so good with no altitude sickness, though.  Crossing fingers.  We   are just up the street from the main square plaza and got to see a festival with little indian children dancing in full  costume.  This is definitely a city built on tourism complete with street vendors selling everything  from  art to bracelets to cds to  anything  coming up to you and bugging you...  good price for you pretty lady!  For realz.   Last night it got really cold  and we are  hoping we can bring enough warm clothes for the hike nights in  the mountains in a tent!    Our room here is  like in a little villa  and we have 2 rooms and  a private bath.  We have met some really nice people in our hostels and have had great service at both of them.  Today..... we are off to the Via Ferrata for some rock climbing and zip lining in the  Sacred Valley.  It is supposed to be beautiful.  Stay tuned....people are in line for the computer .   Having a great time!!!
